One London Set to Join City's Iconic Skyline

A new landmark tower, known as One London, is set to be built at 63 St Mary Axe, close to Leadenhall Street in the heart of the City of London.

Standing at approximately 176 metres, the development will provide modern office space, public gardens, and new green areas while incorporating sections of the City's historic Roman Wall. The all-electric building has been designed with sustainability and public access at its core.

Although One London will become a prominent feature of the skyline, it will be slightly shorter than the nearby Gherkin, which stands at 180 metres. It will also sit below other major City skyscrapers, including the Cheesegrater at 224 metres and 22 Bishopsgate at 278 metres. London's tallest building remains The Shard at 310 metres.

Construction is expected to begin in 2027, with completion planned for the early 2030s. The project highlights London's continued investment in modern, sustainable developments while enhancing one of the capital's most recognisable business districts.
