Construction Sport was proud to take part in this year’s Cambridge Contractors vs Cambridge Consultants rugby match, a fantastic day that showcased everything great about the construction industry.

Celebrating the event’s 10th anniversary, the Consultants came away with the win after a hard-fought game played in brilliant spirit from start to finish. There were big hits, quality tries and, most importantly, huge respect shown by both teams on and off the pitch.

The day also featured a hockey match between the Contractors and Consultants, bringing together both men and women from across the sector in another brilliant display of teamwork and camaraderie.

From the sport to the social afterwards, the event was a huge success and a real credit to everyone involved. A massive thank you goes to all those who helped organise and support the day.

Events like this show the very best side of construction, bringing people together, building relationships and creating a positive culture across the industry. It’s something that deserves to be replicated right across the country.
